June 2020: CLEO study will start up again (after Corona)

Utrecht, June 2020

After an interruption of 3 months due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the CLEO study team contacted all participating hospital departments of the CLEO study, and most declared to be fit to enroll again in the CLEO study. Most ICU’s have had an extremely rough time, some still host quite some COVID-19 affected patients and some departments from the “general ward” group are still recovering from an exceptional time nursing massive amounts of COVID-19 patients and working with new colleagues in different shifts.
Nonetheless many participants realize that taking part in a multicenter international program requires harmonization to a general goal… So most do their utmost to work with UMC Utrecht (the study leader) to plan a retraining and to resume the pace from before mid march as early as possible.
